Artist Statement: In many cultures jewelry is viewed as an asset and worn for personal implementation. She uses this statement to build structures onto the body; just as the human body carries emotions and feelings, which are conveyed onto the body surface as marks and symbols. These are traces of lives lived, reflections of the person who wears them. Jewelry shares the same characteristics but in a temporary and changeable format.
