With work from Jennifer Merchant, Emiko Oye and Nikki Couppee, this exhibition features three artists that are transforming plastic into wearable works of art. An often overlooked material for jewelry, plastic is undoubtedly a part of our everyday lives. And this transformation calls into question: how do we place value on objects? What is cherished? Each artist has their own unique way of interpreting these questions and reinventing the material by tapping into intuition, with color remaining a key component to the work.
