Artist Statement: My favorite subject is necklaces and chains, because the serial aspect has always interested me and in my opinion, of all forms of jewelry, they connect with the body in the most interesting way, in the sense that the body is in motion, after all, and necklaces go along exactly with that motion and so are able to unfold a further dimension on the body, which only then becomes visible and tangible. In terms of form and content, I move at the intersection between artisanal and industrial production methods, besides the frequent use of pre-manufactured materials as the basis for pieces, an essential characteristic is always a clear and reduced formal vocabulary as well.
Materials: Stainless Steel, Powder Coating
