Luana Coonen is known for her high-quality nature-inspired jewelry, creating modern wearable pieces, encapsulating the mystique of nature and celestial movements. Inspired by flora and the sciences, she seamlessly combines traditional and alternative materials such as polycarbonate, colored sapphires and precious metals. Dedicated to sustainability, Luana works with Fair Trade gemstones, antique diamonds, recycled metals, and carefully sourced & fully traceable materials.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Luana now lives in Paonia Colorado where she runs a small but bustling jewelry business that is represented nationwide. Her work has been covered by the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and she is a is a two-time recipient of the Niche award. Luana’s work has been featured in movies and shows, including worn by Jennifer Aniston and Rachel Ray.
