Artist Statement: We cannot remove the footprint of blood from history. The pain and wounds that nations are carrying in the deepest layer of their collective memory will blossom from each drop, over their ruined lands. Sharareh’s work is about memory and cultural identity. Seemingly old broken objects are excavated from ancient stories embedded in the darkest corner of her mind.
Materials: Rock Crystal, Steel, Epoxy Resin, Pigment
