Artist Statement: The theme of Kodani’s work is to create more attractive forms, and he values surprise and novelty in the transformation of lines into three-dimensional structures by combining simple shapes. He also sees parallels between the way lines combine to form three-dimensional objects and the way people connect to form communities, and creates works based on the concept of connection.
