Peter Machata - Soft Portrait of a Woman Brooch

Wearing Red: Ignite the Fire

$2,160.00

Artist Statement: The face communicates, shows off, disguises, hides, reveals what it wants to show. I prefer to watch the hands, they hide easily, and they do not mask anything. We protect them and at the same time expose them to the greatest danger. We cannot do much without them. They create, work, caress, and record the time, the way of our lives. They are a portrait we seldom show, but they tell about us more than we would like.

Materials: Sterling Silver, Plexi Glass, Plastic

Curated by Charon Kransen, Wearing Red: Ignite the Fire is a traveling exhibition featuring over 60 critically acclaimed international artists. Conceptually, this exhibition explores the various meanings associated with this bold color - be it passion, love, lust, anger, war, religion, or status, to name a few.

THIS EXHIBITION PIECE IS FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE EXCHANGED.
