Artist Statement: In Youngjoo Lee’s work, the play of structure can be very flexible or opposite depending on the direction. For her, the shape whose starting point is unknown creates a sense of volume by repeating the curvature by centrifugal force. It is like the rhythm of the canon. The repetition of the same type draws the curvature of music and time.
